


Mrs. Dishowitz is a National Board Certified Social Studies teacher (NBCT AYA- History). She received a B.A. in History/Political Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, an M.Ed. in Social Studies from the University of Miami, and is currently working on an Ed.D. in Instructional Technology at Nova Southeastern University.
She is an active member of the community, serving as Chairwoman of the
Plantation Parks
and Recreation Advisory Board and as an Honorary Board member of the Helene
Soref Jewish Community Center. She is a member of the Broward County School
Board’s Technical Advisory Committee and is active in various local political
and charitable groups.
Mrs. Dishowitz has two grown sons. She and her husband, Judge Marty Dishowitz, are very proud of their accomplishments.
Mrs. Dishowitz has more than twenty years of experience in the field of secondary education.
