

Dr. Dishowitz is a National Board Certified Social Studies teacher (NBCT AYA- History). She received a B.A. in History and Political Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, an M. Ed. in Social Studies from the University of Miami, and her Ed. D. from Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Dish is an active member of the community. She is a
member and past chairman of Plantation Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and is an Honorary Board member of the Helene Soref Jewish Community Center. She is
the Vice-Chairman of the Broward County School
Board’s Technical Advisory Committee and is active in various local political
and charitable groups.
Dr. Dishowitz has two grown sons and a wonderful daughter-in-law. She and her husband, Judge Marty Dishowitz, are very proud of their accomplishments.
Dr. Dishowitz has more than twenty years of experience in the field of
secondary education.
